Disposal of Unwanted Medicines

It is not unusual to have out of date or unwanted medicines in your medical cabinets or first aid boxes at home. However, it is very important to ensure that these are disposed of safely.

We are a distance selling pharmacy providing online services on a national basis. Essential services are delivered without face-to-face contact.

It is not unusual to have out of date or unwanted medicines in your medical cabinets or first aid boxes at home.
However, it is very important to ensure that these are disposed of safely.
Always read the leaflets accompanying your medicines for further advice.
We can arrange to collect your unwanted medicines where our staff will be happy to collect & dispose them for you, using our DOOP service. The Environmental Agency regulates this service and collects such medicines from our pharmacies at regular intervals.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept chemicals or syringes and you should contact your local Council for assistance.
For information regarding the collection of medicines from Nursing and Residential Homes, please see our Care Services section.
